CT Midi Cleantec - several years old - what can go on top?
« on: October 15, 2022, 02:29 PM »
Is there any way to mount a WorkCenter or ToolHolder WHR-CT to an older Midi?

On my CT 33 I custom made a wooden base and built my own. But would rather buy and install

Which version of the WHR-CT?

The older one only mounts as a classic Systainer. I can't think why it wouldn't just fit on a Midi?

EDIT: oh, not the Planex holder but the steel-rod sander-holder.  [embarassed]

Since I don't have a Workcenter, I guess it would have to be a new version one, so it doesn't work. Of course per your idea, if I could find an old one on ebay, etc. that would be good. Thanks for the tip.

What product number do you mean? The steel pole to mount a sander on? The black base to park the Planex on? If the latter; which of two versions?

The Workcenter WCR-1000 requires a CT-26 or larger to fit in stock configuration.  To mount to an older (or newer) MINI or MIDI, you would need to fabricate some sort of adapter plate, which I think has been described on here in a thread somewhere.

Source: I have an OG MINI, a MIDI-I, a CT-26, and a Workcenter WCR-1000 and tried to fit it on all three, only succeeding in fitting to the 26.
