Connntect D36 to D27

I’ve got the newer version of the D36 7 m hose connected to my dust extractor. In a recent Festool video Sedge showed the tool end of the D36 connecting directly to the vac end of a D27.

Is this really possible? What vac end adapter or connector do I need to do this with an older D27?

I purchased the 452892 vac end but it definitely doesn’t mate with the tool end of the 36

The newer hoses with smooth outsides have an updated vac-end fitting that allows connection to a D36 or D27 hose.

How do I purchase said vac end and can it be retrofit onto an older 27?

Sounds like yours is a straight D27.  The hose rotating end 204919 fits 32mm (tapered end of the new D32/27).... so probably out of luck on that one.
