Has anyone here changed the top fan on the KA65? It appears to be well hidden and I need some pointers to get at it and replace. Thanks. Paul.

I had what I think was a fan go out but it was fixed under warranty.  The issue I was having is when the unit was first turned on it would go through its normal heat up process that takes approx 8min. but as soon as the unit would reach operating temp it would go into error mode.  It wouldnt through the error code until it reached the set temp.  Not sure what your is doing but that was my issue. Unfortunately Festool claimed when they received it that it was working fine which is crazy since I tried a couple dozen times all with the same result and even sent them a video of what it was doing.  So they didnt fix it they just sent me a new one which was cool but I do wonder about the cost of repairs with it.  Going forward since im out of warranty now.
