I believe you could expect about 0.5% expansion if the humidity change is significant. 1mm over the length of the part fence is way more than that.

Hi All, I purchased a parf guide (mk II) in the summer and made my first track saw cutting station (with am MDF top), it worked really well and have been please with it... until now.
For a birthday present I was given a parf fence which I'd had my eye on for some time. However taking it out to try out on the cutting station I found the parf fence was at full length around 1mm shorter than holes in the bench, and therefore wont fit, at all - this is consistent around the surface.
Has anyone else experienced this? has my bench expanded with the damp autumn air?

You need to report this to Axminster Customer Services. It is difficult to know if your original PGS layout is not right of the fence.

Thank you, I've tried mapping the parf guide to the fence using the reducer dogs and both line up, so it's definitely down to changes on the bench [unsure].
