Hi!

I've been a Festool dealer for years, but just signed in to your forum recently. I'm not sure how to specify in my profile that I am a dealer.  Can you help?

Hey, Sean here from The Tool Nut in NY!  Would love to get added as a dealer here.  I'm heavily involved with some other online communities but just stumbled upon FOG last night.  Seems like a super comprehensive community and I'm excited to get involved.

The Tool Nut is a 10,000 sq ft retail location located right outside of NYC, just a tad bit north.  My Father started the business in 1994 and we've changed locations twice to expand.  We've been a Festool Dealer since early '07 and are a full line STOCKING dealer.  Come on by if you'd like a personal demo.  Most of my salesman, 4 to be exact, are factory trained in Fes guys so they really know their stuff.  Again, let me know if you're interested in a demo of any products or the full line and I'd be more than happy to set it up for you...usually you can just stop on by and get that dedicated service without an appointment!

As far as web presence it's something we've been working on for quite some time.  It is in the works but running our large location and taking care of our loyal and dedicated local customer's has been priority #1 since day one and will continue to be...so in short, the site is on the way!  Keep a look out: www.toolnut.com

We are proud to announce that we have become a FestoolUSA and Waterlox dealer, bringing you quality tools and finishes for your woodworking projects, large or small, with more coming! The Boite Carr? website is still under development, but please visit, and call if you have any questions.

We are also adding a new commitment that underscores all our efforts - to give back to the community 10% of our net profits. We will keep you informed about the directions this takes, but in these difficult times we want to be part of building new opportunity for rural America and helping those having hard times.

Here at the Dogtrot, we still choose our products, cypress and sinker cypress lumber, as well as old reclaimed antique lumber, based on what interests us, and what we believe to be "Only the Best".

We appreciate your visit, and look forward to having you back again soon!

Hi Hille, welcome to the FOG. Nice to see someone from this side of the pond. I think you're the first Festool dealer here on this forum from Europe. I'm, from Holland so I don't think I'll be coming by any time soon, but it sure is nice to see a dealer who knows how it works on this site of the ocean.

And 36 years already! You and/or your company must have a ton of knowledge about everything Festool.

Hi Alex, we got a lot of clients that are from Holland. We also sell some products to the company's in Holland. Frezite,...
my grandfather started it, and we always kept the products that we started with.
we do big machines and handmachines. in the handmachines we have only 2 types.
1 type is for the inside and precision (FESTOOL), the other is for the builders. (DeWALT and also around 25/30 years)

That Ebay ban must be a US ban as loads of dealers advertise on Ebay UK and I believe in Europe. In reality there is virtually no difference in price unless they are selling off ex demo stock when it is auctioned.

Why there so many regional differences in availability & marketing beats me.

I am just a thick Limey chippy so not au fait with global sales strategy but it seems that Festool would sell more tools and accessories if there were a global standard! ??? ???

Not to be captain obivious, but have plenty of stock, provide excellent service, knowledgeable staff and some good events and you should be able to attract a following.  Good luck.

Went in to look at an MFT and ended up buying it and some jig saw blades and MTF clamps.

They even organised the shipping.

HI!

I would like to introduce our online woodworker tools shop JE-Online Woodwork Shop:

JE - Nettiverstas - Online Woodwork Shop
Festool products fast from big stock

JE-Nettiverstas is registered in 2011. We are located in Rovaniemi - the heart of beautiful Northern Finland, Lapland. We moved to a new warehouse / logistical center in 2015. It's accomanied with pick-up point for local / visiting people. We offer professional grade tools like Festool, Bessey and also tools from the middle grade for more suitable price tag with excellent price-quality ratio. We have successfully delivered tools to our customers in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and many other European countries.

We hope you'll find what you're looking for. If not, please let us know and we will try to help you!

5 good reason to buy from us

Low prices with finnish reliability: We are known about our good customer care. We for example register Festool machines for you. Together with our reasonable pricing many have found reason to rely on us with their tool investments. We are direct importers of almost all of our tools so there's no middlemans. This also ensures faster response and help with product guarantee.

We ship internationally and it's not expensive: We now ship internationally and to EU free of charge when order exceeds 500€ (incl. VAT). Check prices here.

VAT-advantage for business customers: VAT percentage in Finland is quite high (24%) so our business customers can take advantage of it because it means lower base prices. Contact us for VAT-free shopping - send your VAT-id with products you want.

High quality tools - not the basic market stuff: Whether you're professional or DIY-man you presumably are looking for good quality tools? We don't compete with big markets with their low-end products. We strive to find quality tools with reasonable prices.

95% of products ship directly from warehouse: Almost 80% of orders ships the same or next day. Usual delivery time to Finland is 2-4 business days and to Sweden 2-8 business days.

Yesterday morning, March 24, I received an email from Capitol Building Supply stating that as of March 22 they were no longer selling Festool. Oh well, better late than never to announce this news.

In addition, in the email was a nice Festool promotional shot of various products. I thought it odd that the picture included two of the specialized mixers, a concrete grinder I think and a sword saw. I suppose that the person in charge of the announcement was so behind in the job that they did not quite make sure that they used a Festool USA promotional picture.

We are Betterley Tools a dealer in Mounds View, MN.  I was hoping to get dealer tag added to our profile.  We also create accessories for Festool tools, is it possible to add a tag for that also.

That'd be something either Peter @Peter Halle or Seth @SRSemenza could facilitate.

[welcome] to the FOG...any plans of hosting the Festool Roadshow again? You guys put on a good spread.  [smile]  These should look familiar.

@Cheese We would love the opportunity to host the Roadshow again.  Especially since we moved to a new location with a MUCH larger showroom and Festool display.  Hopefully they reach out when coming back through MN.

Hello FESTOOL OWNERS GROUP
Hello, Xche here from Ultimate Tools in Burnaby, B.C. Canada

You probably already know my colleague Chris Wong, who is an active member on this forum and who has been the Ultimate Tools rep up until recently. I'll be taking over the role, so if you have any questions or comments you can direct them my way. Chris is still on the team just moving into a different position.

For anyone that isn't familiar with Ultimate Tools, we are a supplier of power tools located in Burnaby, B.C. Canada but we also sell across Canada and internationally. We have a niche product offering which includes Festool and other brands of similar quality. We carry heavy industrial and commercial machines from the Felder Group and Laguna brands as well.

Excuse all the BBC I couldn't help myself, first time using it and there's lots of fun options.
Can anyone recommend a bbc builder website? I found the image options hard to understand.

How do I get that sweet Festool Dealer tag added to my name?

Cheers,
Xche
