Hi!

I've been a Festool dealer for years, but just signed in to your forum recently. I'm not sure how to specify in my profile that I am a dealer.  Can you help?

Thanks,

Hey, Sean here from The Tool Nut in NY!  Would love to get added as a dealer here.  I'm heavily involved with some other online communities but just stumbled upon FOG last night.  Seems like a super comprehensive community and I'm excited to get involved.

The Tool Nut is a 10,000 sq ft retail location located right outside of NYC, just a tad bit north.  My Father started the business in 1994 and we've changed locations twice to expand.  We've been a Festool Dealer since early '07 and are a full line STOCKING dealer.  Come on by if you'd like a personal demo.  Most of my salesman, 4 to be exact, are factory trained in Fes guys so they really know their stuff.  Again, let me know if you're interested in a demo of any products or the full line and I'd be more than happy to set it up for you...usually you can just stop on by and get that dedicated service without an appointment!

As far as web presence it's something we've been working on for quite some time.  It is in the works but running our large location and taking care of our loyal and dedicated local customer's has been priority #1 since day one and will continue to be...so in short, the site is on the way!  Keep a look out: www.toolnut.com

We are proud to announce that we have become a FestoolUSA and Waterlox dealer, bringing you quality tools and finishes for your woodworking projects, large or small, with more coming! The Boite Carr? website is still under development, but please visit, and call if you have any questions.

We are also adding a new commitment that underscores all our efforts - to give back to the community 10% of our net profits. We will keep you informed about the directions this takes, but in these difficult times we want to be part of building new opportunity for rural America and helping those having hard times.

Here at the Dogtrot, we still choose our products, cypress and sinker cypress lumber, as well as old reclaimed antique lumber, based on what interests us, and what we believe to be "Only the Best".

We appreciate your visit, and look forward to having you back again soon!

Hi Hille, welcome to the FOG. Nice to see someone from this side of the pond. I think you're the first Festool dealer here on this forum from Europe. I'm, from Holland so I don't think I'll be coming by any time soon, but it sure is nice to see a dealer who knows how it works on this site of the ocean.

And 36 years already! You and/or your company must have a ton of knowledge about everything Festool.

Hi Alex, we got a lot of clients that are from Holland. We also sell some products to the company's in Holland. Frezite,...
my grandfather started it, and we always kept the products that we started with.
we do big machines and handmachines. in the handmachines we have only 2 types.
1 type is for the inside and precision (FESTOOL), the other is for the builders. (DeWALT and also around 25/30 years)

Do any of these dealers list their products on Ebay where you can take advantage of the third party rebate through Bing?

That Ebay ban must be a US ban as loads of dealers advertise on Ebay UK and I believe in Europe. In reality there is virtually no difference in price unless they are selling off ex demo stock when it is auctioned.

Why there so many regional differences in availability & marketing beats me.

I am just a thick Limey chippy so not au fait with global sales strategy but it seems that Festool would sell more tools and accessories if there were a global standard! ??? ???

I'm new to the group, and thought readers might be interested in checking out www.carterlumber.com if they get bored, or are just interested in seeing what products and services that Carter Lumber offers. No, I don't work there. I just thought it relates to this string of comments.

Hey, Jon Taylor here from Eveready Hardware in Long Island City, just outside of New York City!

Eveready would love to get added as a dealer here on the Festool Owners Group!!

Eveready Hardware is a 40,000 sq ft wholesale hardware facility located right outside of NYC, just a few minutes away.  My Grandmother started the business in 1934 and we've changed locations once to expand, to our new facility which INCLUDES CUSTOMER PARKING!!

We've been a Festool Dealer since 2012 and are a full line STOCKING dealer.  Come on by if you'd like a personal demo in our Festool Test CenterSix of my inside Sales Professionals are factory trained in Festool, so my guys really know their stuff.  Let us know if you're interested in a demo of any products or the full line and we'd be more than happy to demo anything for you!  You can just walk right in without an appointment, we're always available for you!!

Looking to be of future service,
