FestoolProducts.com is now ToolPros

To all of our existing customers, a special thank you from myself and my colleagues for choosing the Tool Nut as your Festool retailer of choice. We genuinely appreciate your patronage.

You may notice that if you visit our FestoolProducts.com website that it looks a little different now. Moving forward, it will be our ToolPros website. The same great selection of Festool, the same great customer service. The only thing that's changing is the website name.

Soon we will also be updating the URL, so update your bookmarks to https://www.toolpros.com  [wink]

Hey Shane,
Out of curiosity, since Festool are available directly on the ToolNut site, why the second site?
I generally order directly from the ToolNut site though I think I've also purchased from FestoolProducts.
FestoolProducts solely as a dealer for Festool at least made sense to me, but ToolPros is so close to ToolNut that it leaves me scratching my head. :)

Great question. We have the second site because we think that Festool is a unique brand with a system-centric approach to their tool and accessory design. To make it easy to shop, we only have Festool and Festool-related items on the second site to make it easier to shop for and find what you're looking for without the distraction of other brands.

Ordering from our second site, ToolPros, is essentially no different than ordering from our ToolNut site. Behind the scenes, everything is the same.

Curious, indeed.  If BIS posts a similar name change to their Festool-centric site, it will likely be more than just a coincidence.

@Shane Holland I just received my first order from Tool Pros. They elected to put an itemized list on the outside of the box with Festool, item #, and description for each item in the box. Given the price of some of this stuff that doesn't seem too smart. Can you do something to end this practice?

I totally get what you are saying and totally agree. To guys like us it screams "Steal Me! I'm valuable", but would the average porch pirate even know what Festool even is?

I had UPS drop a Homak tool cart on my front porch one time. Full color picture on the box, turned right toward the street! Really? It must have just happened too, because I did get it inside before it grew wings. Since then, I have everything delivered to my work, even if it's not for work.
The lady in the shipping/receiving area takes very good care of it. She has been surprised by a few bicycle parts suppliers, before getting to know me. LOL and has learned to check the name on random Amazon boxes, because I'm not the only one to do it, especially since the pandemic.

Thanks Shane. Struck me as odd as I've never seen this happen with any purchase before. Hopefully it was a one off occurrence and not the norm.
