This is probably my most used Festool item.  MFT/sander/CT26 and this.  I use just about all the elements (except the securing knobs - haven't really needed them) every time I am sanding/working on the MFT.  This is just a really handy set!!

I was about to post about this set this weekend if it was available or not since a different dealer listed a pre-order.  I really wish you could buy the insert since I have the stuff that goes in it.  I really don't understand why this is limited, or went away before, it's one of the most obvious things for Festool to sell, everyone with an MFT uses this stuff.  I would have bought this twice not long ago if it had existed.

I was fortunate to have this come out when I bought my MFT; I can't think of using the MFT without the clamping elements and quick clamps in it.

It did not go away. Everything in the set is available separately, including planning stop from Lee Valley. Well, minus the insert, which is waste of volume.

It did go away, people couldn't buy it. It's not about the contents, it's about the whole thing, and more specifically what you can't buy, the insert. The insert is what makes it nice,  and like many things, the sum of buying all the bits separately cost more than just buying this kit.  The dogs with it are different from what I have, I wish TSO made a nice systainer setup for their dogs to organize them.

Yah, I went to Lee Valley's web site  last night and saw the planing stops available. For us who already have everything that the kit does , clamps, dogs, elements all I need to do is pickup the plane stops which I will soon. then create my own kit.

But for those who dont have all the things the kit offers then I can see buying it. But they had it out before as a limited time sale, so theyll have it again after this one goes away. But as I said you can buy the items separately and make you own if it does. Even add different dogs, rail dogs, parf dogs whatever floats yer fancy

Ah, that sucks :(

But that is how we EU feels when it comes to Netflix, Apple, etc. All products and services we don't have. We just have Apple pay (last month)  [blink]

I’ve got one of the planing stops from a Lee Valley.  Very nice.

Just bought a kit here in Aus. Excellent value (big surprise) for AU$419. Separately - Clamping elements $190, Fastfix $93.50ea ($187) SYS1 Tloc $99 = $477. I didnt look up the price for the dogs, planing stops & knobs and the insert. So those are basically free.

All Festool gear in Aus is the same price from all retailers :(

Will this kit be released this year? I’ve been trying to find it for the last few months and no one has it! Would appreciate any info, if they will be re release again, or who still has them?

Let's let @Festool USA know there's still interest in this set, maybe they'll consider bringing it back or adding it as a regular catalog item.

We can probably second that regarding Festool in Europe too. I think a set like this or even a revised or slight different set would sell very well. The number of people using one or more MFT tables are quite high..

I don't know about Norway, but the Festool 201311 set is stocked and available from several German distributors.

@MikeGE  Thanks!
Although, Norway is not a part of EU and dealers will sell, but not ship outside EU.
I saw some sets on eBay, but €400 plus shipping and later 25% tax on top of both the set price and shipping.. auch.
I have one set for now, but would like another.

Will this kit be released this year? I’ve been trying to find it for the last few months and no one has it! Would appreciate any info, if they will be re release again, or who still has them?

So, for the U.S. customers here's the price breakdown.
Clamping Elements - $125.00
Quick Clamps x 2    - $84.00
Planing Stops x 2    - $49.00   (from Lee Valley)
Short surface dogs x 4 - $31.80 (from Lee Valley)
Sys1 Systainer - $76
Insert not available....

Grand Total $365.80 if my addled brain is functioning. The Festool price is/was $300. We had one of these sets for as long as I worked at Woodcraft and then it sold. I was able to get some more transferred in from another Woodcraft store and immediately sold both sets the same day. After another transfer, I bought a set and we have two more available. Stop by the Chattanooga Woodcraft store if interested. This is a great deal, iff, you actually have a use for all of the contents. I personally like the fact that you can store and carry your MFT clamping solutions in a single systainer. YMMV. The plane stops are really cool for putting in your MFT at right angles and using them to hand plane down to a fairly thin board. I think Dave Stanton reviewed this set on Youtube and he uses the surface dogs for holding stock to domino. In any case, I love the set and use the contents regularly. 8)
And, we, as woodworkers know there's no such thing as too many clamps....

Postscript - Bessey must make the Festool quickclamps because we sell the Bessey and the Festool ones at our store....the Festool version is significantly less expensive. ($58 Bessey vs $42 Festool)

They do. And Wiha and Wera is most likely the ones making screwdriver handles, bit holder and bits for Festool. Including Bessey, they are first rate products in Europe, I guess they are well positioned in the US market as well. As of today, and 20+ years of using bits and bit holders from those none has broke, Bessey too make very nice quality products. I think Festool is one of few who have “rebadged” other high quality brands under their name. I know DeWalt used to have bits from, I think Wiha, those from DeWalt were also almost bullet proof.

Yes, would be nice if they always stocked it. Assembly sets I noticed are not available either, which is a bummer.
