Router on a rail made for the HKC saw...

The Festool router guide rail adapter doesn't fit onto the Festol FSK rails, the T shaped anti tipping bit of the rail gets in the way.

However, I don't have a Festol router anyway, mines a little De-Walt router and I have the De-Walt rail adapter for it.
Its not perfect, the clamping cams don't have enough adjustment (looks like I could put some HDPE sheet in there to pack it out) the two rods aren't long enough (get longer ones).
The fine adjustment knob fouls the raised centre aluminium section of the track (could be fired on a lathe, turned down so it doesn't then knurled to make it grippy again) but it might be doable.

Well I like the idea of using the FSK rail to set a router up to cut slots for things like bookshelves.
I like the way the FSK rail can be set for repeatable angles.
I reckon I could clamp the rail on the left side because although the rail clamps dont clamp into.the underside grove it will still clamp the rail on all the same.
