Dashboard Workbench
« on: July 10, 2021, 02:23 PM »
Just an echo of a previous post extolling the virtues of the Dashboard Workbench. I have used it for the past 6 months on several architectural detail restoration projects with great success. Projects have included 3 Victorian storm doors (sapele), 2 Victorian trellis (sapele), and 2 seven foot gates for installation in a 12 foot street side stone wall (sapele). The work bench simplified the production and assembly to such a degree and the hours charged for each project was reduced by 25 percent to the clients delight. Its features and their application are truly endless. I have ordered a second bench so as to expand my assembly area. I have no interest with the company and paid full price for the bench and all of the offered accessories. Architectural Detail Restoration.

The bench is incredible. I have been on the fence about buying a mft/3 for years, just dreading how much it liked to do an irish jig with any amount of force applied to it as seen in reviews. I somehow found the dashboard in fog so did some research and decided to drop the coin. Bought the shortcut with abi super bundle to work with a benchdogs uk fence and am amazed how everything is built like a tank. I knew it would be good but was shocked at the milling, thickness and all when looking at it in person. Such a stout bench and accessories. When you watch the assembly videos, you get an idea why pieces are designed the way they are by Rob which is amazing and I believe will cut out frustration on my part knowing its not the products fault if something isn't working right.  Rob gets right back to you extremely fast with any questions.

For anyone in the UK who might be sitting on the fence (please excuse the pun), I'm about to place an order for a Dashboard with Rob.

If you would like to also place an order then we could ship to UK jointly. Thanks.

I don't have the bench, however I do have many of Rob's accessories and I am very pleased with all of them.  Their machining and robustness is unsurpassed. I also got a DIYMFT and adapted MFT legs to it for easy storage.  Rob has been very helpful with all of my questions.
