Festool Hose End Dimensions for older CT Midi vac

Hey Friends,

I'd like to improve the ease of connecting my CT Midi older style hose end to my various Festool units.  Right now it's easy to connect to the Festool track saw.  But with my almost 73 year-old hands it's a bit of a struggle to connect the hose over the Festool ETS EC 125/3 sander and Domino DF 500 in particular.

Has anyone come up with a quick connect system for this older style hose end that works well with these tools?  I see Rockler has a flexible adapter, but I'm not sure that's the correct solution size-wise.

Also, I'd like to clear up what dimensions folks refer to for the Festool older hose end.  It appears the hose itself is about 35mm O.D.  The sleeve (tool end) appears to be 35mm O.D. and 23mm I.D. -- is that correct?  I've not seen a definitive set of dimensions for these hose parts; especially relative to the various tools.
