I've got a few sys minis.
How do I stack the minis with sys 3s etc.

Also, have my first reno project using multiple Festool tools.

The work area was a disaster.

How do you manage your onsite work area.

Thanks In Advance

The minis don't latch to anything but themselves.

And unfortunately, unlike the full-size systainers, the Classic Mini can't be latched to the underside of a TLoc Mini.

The Mini fits perfectly in the shelf of the Workcenter WCR-1000, but that's not exactly a portable setup.

The minis sorta-kinda fit side by side inside a regular systainer, but not guaranteed depending on the generation and the hinge protection.

While it won't latch/integrate, a stack of minis will fit in an Apache 5800 from Harbor Freight --- was considering that for a while as an option (since discarded, I'm cheap and bought into Husky Rolling Connect since they now have a drawer unit).

What are you planning to put in the minis?

Are you mostly the only person on site?

Was this a problem of tools spread all over?

Pics of the "disaster"?

Thanks to all regarding the info regarding minis.

The worksite was the good lady wife's kitchen.
And lots of pressure to get things done as that is the Master Chef's workshop.

Do you use the tool then put away in the Systainer immediately after.
Then unpack it again when needed?
Just seems like a lot of unpacking and packing.
Or just suffer thru.

Unpack the tools you know that you'll need and set them up in your temporary work area. Spend 10 mins getting set up. Get the systainers out of there, if you can, or stack them up in a corner/adjacent room. Getting tools out of, and putting back into, systainers is a pathway to frustration. If you can, try not to work on the floor - some kind of temporary bench, maybe making use of those now empty systainers.
It's always better to 'look at it, rather than look for it'.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but the above is precisely what I suffer from.

Has anybody else been this way but to discover a system and methodology that keeps them organised, and one that is sustained over time?
