Connector set for long bar top; needed?

I am building a 108" bar in 8/4 sycamore with a center seam. I am a Domino 700 user and fan, but my question is do I need to use one of the connectors for this project? Or just a lot of Dominos and glue?

If I have to use a connector, which do you suggest?

All the connectors can do for you, that a regular Domino can't, is pull the joint together. If you have some other way to do that, clamps of some kind, no need for the connector.
