advice on how foam installs in systainer lid

the foam's upside (facing systainer lid) has a raised block section and seems to have self-stick adhesive. My confusion comes from not having a surface in the systainer lid to stick it to. There is a waffled surface. The lid foam consisted in one part: the lid foam itself. Are there installation parts missing?
maybe a piece of flat plastic and 4 miniature screws?

I put one of those in a systainer.
The built up part faces the front of the systainer and you just push it in.
The adhesive holds it well, it then poke the foam onto the little point things that usually hold the cardboard in the lids.

thanks. I saw the hooks. what a strange setup though! Hi-section of lid's underside sticks to hi-side of foam.
