36mm anti-static hose connector dismantle/reconnect
« on: February 06, 2023, 02:40 PM »
Hey all,

I have a new 36mm anti-static hose. I want to thread this through my work cabinet to an enclosed separator and then on to my ct36.

I'm trying to take the connector off to thread the hose through a hole so the end cant slip back.

I have taken the cover off the connector but the anti-static hose is tight. On non antistatic I turned counter clockwise and the hose came off.

Whats the trick with the antistatics - Pull, twist, clockwise, anti clockwise? How do I get the connector off without doing damage?

Once you push the tabs in and remove the outer sleeve, the inner sleeve rotates clockwise to remove. It's left hand threaded.
