So, what do you think?

Battery powered power generator in a systainer?

It would not be a world first, except for the systainer part.

Would it run on 18V Festool batteries or internal cells?

USB-charger and Festool battery charger would be nice to have integrated. Maybe even a radio or worklight?

Or something completely different?

Their blurb (https://www.festool.co.uk/campaigns/microsites/power#Annoyyourself!) made plenty mentions of corded tools and said tools not reaching power supplies so I think they must have something more than some batteries and chargers in a box.

I translated it in google, sounds like you can run corded tools remotely and also have 4 batteries charged and ready to go in a single systainer. So in theory you could open up space in a systainer3 and add extra tools with the freed up space. The inserts are now made of foam so they could be modular enough to mix and match on a larger sys. This is pure conjecture after reading the translation from, Dutch, Flemish,

Just a bit over 3,300 Euro, a must have!

The specs are impressive: 1500 wH battery capacity, 3680 Watt output. It can run a 3 HP Sawstop for 45 minutes if my math is not totally off!

If I was a commercial tradesperson, I'd buy one in a heart beat. The specs. are excellent, and being able to power a corded, half-stationary tool, or other high-powered tools + full size L or M rated dust extractor - is incredible. Just thinking of our underground garage, that has only one really crappy and somewhat dangerous outlet, anyone working in/on it "down" to the janitor would be well off having the SYS-PST 1500.

Personally, looking at this option, I think it beats having high power battery tools + a battery powered full size extractor (which are still rather special/ not wide spread and available only from few manufacturers)

With this, you can really spare you the battery powered half-stationary tools + battery powered full size extractor (which combined won't be too far off, price wise) and just use the tools you are used to.

I love it!

Personally, from a private user perspective, I will have a hard time to justify the price, for a "power bank" that will sit idle most of the time and would only be used for minor stuff, that I could find other solutions for. However, if I was back at the beginning of my endeavor into "DIY" - I'd also get one in a heart beat. This would have made a lot of things easier to deal with.

Again, I love it. & Well done, Festool!

Look at how much of the dust while filling and starting to mix gets sucked right into the extractor and is not released into the air/room and ultimately your lungs. AWESOME! This I will get ASAP!

Probably because the picture is supposed to convey how clean/"dust free" the accessory makes this process. It's marketing after all.

Exactly. Just slosh some water into the vac at the end of the day and mix up your last batch. It even has wheels to get it to the workplace...

Saw a post on IG today not sure what it is but it was a anthracite systainer with the wording BOTT. Looking at the pic wondering if it is the Van system of systainer storage system.
