There are some new sand paper kits for the rotex 90 and the 125 mm sanders that come in the systainer boxes with the correct insert. Numbers Festool 576676 and Festool 576677

If I'm not mistaken the new table saw with sawstop technology is coming to North America eventually. Maybe Festool USA or Festool Canada confirmed it. This would have been a long time ago I thought I saw this.

Speaking of TID 18 it will come in one basic, 2 plus, and 2 set kits. The basic is impact without batteries and chargers. The plus kits you get the optgion between 2x 3.1 batteries or 2x 4.0 batteries. The first set kit includes a pdc, 4.0 slim battery, 5.2 battery. Another with a t18 with 2x 3.1 slim batteries. The interesting thing is the pdc and t18 kits do not include centrotec chucks

I got to have a play with the new TID 18 yesterday and had a look at the new foldable sheet handling table.

The TID kit was the one with the compact 3.1 ah batteries and the T18, all in the same Systainer. As you said, there is not Centrotec option for the impact driver, but the Festool Rep did have a specific Festool impact bit holder in the systainer case. .....A nice short impact compatable bit holder.

The folding support table was smaller when all folded up than I had anticipated it would be. It looked well thought out and nice quality.
We didnt have the time to set it up and try it unfortunately, as I was busy and the Rep had another appointment to get to.....

Overall,  first impressions of both items,..... Really Good!

Nice! Ill probably import the Angle stop FS-WA/90° when it becomes available and I love the worktable idea but they are nuts with their pricing, so Ill definitely be passing on that!
It's already here!

Nah, rather have the Festool "themed" one and it'll be cheaper to import it than buying from TSO.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success!

Great if you can get it without paying the VAT. Other wise you will pay quite a bit more.

And vice versa (TSO -> overseas). 80 USD for international shipping? Then import. Brings this to an easy 300 USD jig.  Right.  Rather have the FT  version for ~ 120 USD.

Has Festool posted the price yet? I did a cursory search but couldn’t find one.

@threesixright  I love Rubart! They are my main source of FS’s. Only downside is that it sometimes takes a bit long for stuff to arrive.

For the avoidance of doubt: these Festool-branded TSO rail-squares also work on Makita rails, right?

(If you ignore the clashing colors, which is the hard part  :) )

Yeha, I agree. But for the non-pro's (like me) its worth the wait imo. Saved me quite a bit of "dinero"  [tongue].

Also great they register your new tools with FT, even I'm in a different country. I nicely receive a letter from FT that the tools are registered. [thumbs up]

Looks like we now know why the new roll board has a flat top rather than having the Systainers set  into  it.  [wink]

And the extra long Systainer .........................  I already built my own.   [smile]

          Custom extra long Systainer

Sure hope the rail square is licensed by TSO.

The tablesaw appears to be too short.

The folding worktable cutting table could be handy. Looks like it might not be sufficiently supportive to be a worktable.

If the release of this folding table leads too people selling MFTs then they never learned how to use the MFT.

Here’s how all the parts make a system. https://www.kelvinpowertools.com/img/shp/FES-TKS80-SET1.jpg

I need a BIGGER shop.  So many Festools and so few dollars!  Money is fleeting, quality tools are yours for life.
