Be advised that the Systainer for the 125 abrasives only has 5 pockets so if you have Granat abrasives for instance from 40 to 400, then add in some Vlies, some miscellaneous Rubin 2 and some Platin, everything gets stacked horizontally on top of each other.  Usually I'll have to pull out a complete stack and sort through it for the grit I want. Not the end of the world but it is a nuisance.

That's the reason Sparky's suggestion that you make your own has merit. The sand paper can be stacked on its side and a card/paper separator can be placed between the grits.

Someone's solution to the issue.  [smile]

I likely will end up making my own from some Walnut slabs but my thought was seeing what’s out there, especially being new to Festool and the systainers... heavens it seems like Woodcraft or similar would offer a class explaining the diffs of systainers sortainers system one - five .

My thought initially is what someone mentioned which was they only hold 5-6 grits. I wanted them all together and convenient

Oh yeah, Festool had for a long time no actual pictures of some of the sandpaper systainers, only one generic (the one for RS 300 (?) sandpaper ) in their databank. A shame. That is why beavertools only shows that generic image. I now see that Festool caught up and has actual pictures;

D125; https://www.festool.nl/producten/systainer-en-transportsystemen/mobiliteit-en-orde/497685---sys-stf-d125
D150; https://www.festool.nl/producten/systainer-en-transportsystemen/mobiliteit-en-orde/497690---sys-stf-d150
Inside of D150 sandpaper systainer shown here;

As you can see; the D150 Systainers has 10 'slots'
[I have no connection to that shop]

Otherwise complete kudo's for their picture catalog. Dealers do get a login for that and it has all pictures perfectly tagged with article numbers. Very useful and it works very fast.

You still might want to make your own though. YMMV

Depending on where you live there might be a shop or person (on eBay e.g.) that sells pre-filled Systainers with like 10-20 sheets of each grit. For hobby use that is perfect as you are likely never gonna use 100 sheets of P400..

Tanos / Festool should just publish a more detailed drawing of their Systainers so it's easier to make your own custom inlays / boxes / ..

Also see this related page;
https://www.festoolownersgroup.com/festool-and-tanos-systainers/abrasive-systainer-34546/

There (used to be)/(is) also a version, denoted with '4S' that was gritnumbers on the insert.
