Color Systainer Bins with out plastic frame - Will they work?

I have been looking for the Color Systainer organizer bins to fit a couple T-Loc Sys 1’s.  No one seems to have the insert set.  If the bins are ordered separately would they still work in a Sys1?  Maybe with some kaizen foam around the edges.

If you buy the bins separately... might just as well buy the completey systainer BOX complete with insert and bins and sell the empty one you have

I ended up ordering two of these inserts.  Is it normal for the lid to not close all the way without pressing it down?  I am using two T-Loc Sys-1.

The foam lid insert will have a press fit to prevent small stuff from leaving the Systainer if held sideways.
