« on: August 08, 2019, 06:49 PM »
Does any one know if the particle board in/on the MFT Tables is Medium Density Fiber Board or something socially made for Festool?
Thanks
Mike

Yes, it’s a type of MDF. Do not confuse MDF with particle board though.

When I make new tops, I try and source the moisture resistant MDF, for durability.

Phenolic is also a very good material for tops.

It is higher density (or better glue or both) than ordinary MDF.
