Right angle T-track brackets
« on: March 19, 2023, 09:02 PM »
Does anyone recognize these and know what they are meant to do?

They key into a standard t-slot and present a stout face perpendicular to the table.
That’s good enough to keep them around, I just do recall where or why I bought them.
Probably a closeout at Woodcraft…

Grooving, ergo grip, and finish screams Veritas to me.  I would venture a guess as it being an older version of the drill press table fence angle brackets (they're shiny alum now).

It's like an internet forum shop scavenger hunt [popcorn] I'm in.

Nothing on google images yet...

As of 10/17 I am out of the Dog business and pursuing other distractions. Thanks for a fun ride!

Does look Veritas-like. Except for the color this stop has the same aesthetic parameters as the angle brackets. I guess the black finish made me think of Pinnacle.

Lots of examples on line, so probably lots of uses But none that look exactly like your example.  Here’s my search:

Saw some interesting stuff at that link. Thorlabs

Looks like you are completely correct.

They have some nicer than usual t-track too.

That stuff is super accurate, probably for laser aiming or measuring. Optics though, not woodworking.
