Felts for furniture
« on: November 05, 2013, 08:59 AM »
I want to start delivering my furniture (if the customer wants it) with self-stick felt under the feet, etc.  I've noticed a few different brands on Amazon.  I was wondering if any of you have experience with these types of felts and have any recommendations or suggestions? Thanks.

I've been using the 1/4" thick  that are available at big boxes. I think I have had a couple different brands that all seem to be the same. Probably same manufacturer.

The pads on Amazon under the Waxman name appear to be the ones I am using.

I also have these thinner  pads for small items.  I found them through a different Amazon seller for less though.

I've been supplying these to my customers for the last 19 years.  http://www.chicagohardwoodflooring.com/glitsa-safeglides-felt-floor-protectors  They are the best i have found.  The tap-in ones are better than the self stick because they won't slide off of chairs that are under repeated use.
