Torx 10 x 100 mm Centrotec included with 576932 kit

Does this mean we will get a separate Torx 10 x 100 2 bit kit option?

Having always wondered why a Torx 10 x 100 mm Centrotec is not available, now see this bit included with the new Systainer3 Organizer CENTROTEC 576932 kit.

At this time there are no plans to offer the Torx 10 x 100 mm as a standalone product.

Why?
So if the tiny T10 gets worn out by use, the only chance for a replacement is buying a new kit?

No wonder too many people are frustrated with the Centrotec system.

I love my Festool drills and the Centrotec stuff, but can for the life of me not figure out why not everything that is offered in kit-form is also available as a spare…

If you need TX10, only option seems to be 2”/50mm - 205076

Festool has been unable to get UL Approval for their spare parts...[oops]  [smile]

It's the same issue with the brad point drills in the imperial installers set, if you lose one or ruin one you're stuffed.  [mad]  [mad]  very [mad]

Wow, makes no sense what so ever. What would be the rational behind not offering the TX10 x 100 Centrotec in a 2 bit kit similar to others. When the application calls; I guess Festool is ok with me putting down my Festool drill and reaching for my Milwaukee 1/4" Hex fitted with the Milwaukee TX10 x 4" bit (which is readily available and has been for years)

Ya, you'd imagine that Festool being as vested as they are in the consumable market would be a bit more expansive/flexible/intelligent when it comes to certain consumables. It's not like they need to make a manufacturing decision on whether or not to increase the output of a particular production line, because these items are manufactured by a second party...you just place an order for more of them.

Weird...but then we've been talking about the weirdness of a lot of Festool decisions for the last 15 years.  [dead horse]
