SYS-Roll electrical requirements on job site
« on: March 16, 2019, 11:12 AM »
Hi Festool, I am a huge fan, and love my SYS-Roll for loading systainers and getting to the worksite.  Once there, I have been using my laptop on top of the top systainer for pulling up job cad drawings while on the job.  So, I have two questions:
1.  Is there any plan to add accessories to the SYS-Roll or any other products to accomodate thinks like a Laptop, or small shelf?
2.  This is a bigger opportunity I think. I need a one stop power strip to charger batteries, cell phone and general other power requirements on site. I would love to have a back panel between the two vertical rails, facing the back of the SYS-Roll for this. Meaning, a power surge  wall that allow's users to mount charging stations, a nest for charging phone with USB jacks, and a retractable extension cord.

Looking forward to a reply, and thanks in advance.

This unit below will give you a shelf to put your laptop onto. From there you can add whatever electrical needs you have to it, even possibly using a Systainer 1, or 2 for power distribution, possibly with a retractable cord reel inside. Everyone's needs are different. Be creative :)
