MFT extensions?
« on: May 27, 2014, 11:12 PM »
Do the portable extension arms that go with the cart work with the MFT? I'm new to Festool and putting together a setup to do crown. Thanks!

If you mean the UG cart extensions, they work with the MFT/3 profiles.

They work on the MFT, only hiccup is the thumb screw rubs the clamp groove. This makes it a little bit more difficult to set the tab and tighten the thumb screw.

I work for the Department of Redundancy Department.
People, I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? Can we get along?

Tom can verify this, that is less than half of the flag stops I own (and use).

Each one had a very specific purpose, some for cuts, some for Domino mortices.

If you look real closely, you may see the flat head bolts holding the fence in place. That MFT in 24" is 0.0000 out of square.

What Department of DRD did you work in?

Sorry, couldn't resist.  I used to work in the gummint and that just sounded all too deja vu. [big grin]
