Kapex saw won't bevel to 47 degrees

There is a selection knob on my new Kapex saw that allows you to select a bevel range of plus or minus 47 degrees but when I use that the bevel won't go beyond 45 degrees.  Am I missing something or is this a misadvertised feature???

It definitely bevels to 47 degrees.  [scratch chin]

You say you've moved the selection knob to the 47 degrees setting, so I have to admit, I'm not sure what would actually stop it moving to 47 degrees other than a faulty machine.

Just to check you have the right process etc., can I suggest you review the KAPEX Supplemental Manual? Page 13.

As Garry suggested, the Kapex will definitely bevel to 47 degrees when the bevel selector knob is turned to that selection.

Make sure that the fence is adjusted to allow for movement of the saw head. It will bump against the fence if you don't slide it out some.

I would suggest you give our service department a call to aid with troubleshooting the problem. If there's a problem with the saw, they can also assist in getting it repaired or replaced. Their number is below in my signature.
