Either everyone has all the kit that they want, or they just picked a few dogs for today's event.  We've been trapped on the PSC 420 for quite a number of hours now, and the TXS has traditionally sat for a while as well once we get to it.

I gotta wonder if the Carvex PSB 420 ever actually sold overnight or if they just gave up and put it back in inventory for another day so that they could get today's items listed.

I know that my needs and tastes aren't universal, but already having a CXS Set and T18+3, I can't say that there's anything left on today's list that is of any interest to me other than the HK and HKC, and I already have one of each of them...

I am unironically waiting for the TXS to come up because I have an unhealthy compulsion to complete my set of Festool drills. (It's the only one I don't own of the current production models.) I need professional help.  [eek]

I am sort of surprised the Carvex has sat for so long. It's easily one of my favorite Festools I own: it's just one of those tools where they got all the small details right that set it apart from the standard stuff you can get at a big-box store.

I wanted to get the Carvex.  I thought about the Carvex.  I frantically researched the Carvex thinking it would disappear quickly.

In the end, I don't currently have a project for which I need it and the reviews are pretty much love it or hate it, not much in between.  I don't need it badly enough to risk not liking it.

That assumes that there's only one, or only one left, of course, but I think that's what's working against it and what was working against the PSB yesterday.

You still have to wait for the Delta Sander to get snapped up before the TXS is available, of course.

As far as "completing the collection", I'd be torn on the TXS Set vs the TXS Plus.  I already have the CXS Set with the right-angle adapter, I really don't need another one.  But from a resale perspective, maybe a future buyer would want to have the whole thing.

Ultimately for me the TXS seems redundant already having a CXS, T18+3 and T18E.  Even the T18E is somewhat redundant, but it was a cheap way to get more batteries.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the

Cordless Sander DTSC 400 Li 3.1-Plus

is listed.

The 'Plus' version of these sanders only includes batteries and a standard TLoc Systainer.  It does NOT include the Mains adapter nor the Combi Systainer.

Sys-Rock was listed for the standard 25% off retail (which is $125), so $93.75.  Not nearly the dollar discount of some of the higher-priced offerings, but $31 bucks is still $31 bucks.

I wonder if people are all Reconned out; I would have thought the HKC would have gone quicker than it has.  Maybe the only things people are still looking for on Recon are Dominos, OFs, and CT-Minis/Midis?

At least we don't have any Planexes (Planexs? Planexies? Planiges?) on the docket right now...

I did. Now I can rack them in two rows, TXS/T18/PDC and CXS/C18/BHC, the T-handles and the C-handles. [blink]

Next up: collecting all the routers! Wait, already did that. I guess I could get a TS 75 to complete my saw collection?

Or I could start buying tools I actually need instead of trying to replicate the SYS WALL. Nope, that's no fun.

Edit: Since I know someone is going to say "you forgot the DWC!", yes, I have one, but it stays in its box. The others actually do get used.

Finish Orbital Sander RTS 400 REQ-Plus is posted.

Edit: by the time I posted this, the RTS was sold.  I snagged the MFK 700 trim router, which appears to have been the only one because now we have the

Multi-Mode Sander ROTEX RO 125 FEQ-Plus up and posted.

Looks like they posted a bunch of sanders and the drywall gun for today, along with the 700 trim router.

Interestingly, the HK-55 is still the final item in the One and Done, so I'm guessing they wanted to get the rest of this stuff up and posted rather than wait for the HK-55 to sell through.

When the drywall gun comes up, note the price is 50%  or $285 for a $570 tool.  I do not know why it is 50% off, but once you adjust for the value of the batteries, charger, and systainer, the gun ends up being very cheap.  SO-if someone needs extra batteries or charger, worth a look.

Cordless Sander ETSC 125 Li 3.1-Set USA is up.

This is the one that includes the Mains adapter and is packaged in a Sys-Combi2 with the bottom drawer.

After that is the Basic ("bare tool") version.

I see the drywall gun posted at 10:14 and then replaced by the  saw at 10:17.  At 3 minutes the drywall gun sure did not last long so congrats to probably the one person who scored this.   I bought this same drywall gun back in Feb when everything was posted at once, (it also was 50% off at that time)  and to my surprise  the silly thing came with two bluetooth batteries.

It appears that they're either prepping for a drop later today, or getting ready for Monday.  The HK 55 is still patiently waiting to be purchased; it probably doesn't help that they're likely still in stock at stores.

That said, they've pre-loaded a Rotex RO 90, Delta DTS 400 (corded), and the TID 18 / PDC 18 combo set after the "Wow, that went fast!" listing.  I've been online once before when I saw that; they prepped everything after that listing, and then changed the order to start the sale.

Not sure when they started to pre-load the items onto the site, I tried to sleep in a little this morning.  I'd be surprised if they opened it up on a Saturday, but they've been doing a lot of surprising things on Recon lately.

Cordless Track Saw TSC 55 Li REB-F-Basic just posted.

They dropped a TSC into the mix in the middle of the day when it wasn't in the queue already?

Recon just keeps getting weirder and weirder, man...

I noticed they are also playing with prices.  The BHC with batteries is 30% off, the Vecturo is 35% off list.

The Vecturo has also been discontinued for 2 years, maybe that plays into the pricing.

Where is "here", @CeeJay ?  I think Cheese may have been referring to the fact that the *corded* model of the Vecturo has been discontinued in North America.  The cordless is the only model still for sale in North America, OSC 18, in all of its variants.

There was also a CXS-Set (with the right angle adapter) up earlier this morning right before the Vecturo.

Looks like the cordless Vecturo is only 20% off; no battery or charger, but all of the rest of the accessories.

Jigsaw TRION PS 300 EQ-Plus just posted.

Wonder what the build date will be on this one?lol

I do not know.  I purchased a PSBC 420 top handle jigsaw early this year from Recon and it was manufactured in 2013.  I was surprised it was that old, but I purchased the Basic model, without batteries, so was not TO concerned about the age.

The Trion PS 300 EQ is still listed on Festool USA's website, sold in a Gen3 Systainer; it could be as young as only 2 or 3 months old, honestly.
