I have been able to locate 3 different SKU numbers on the Planex drywall sander. The first is 571579 which, according to 4nthony, is the Planex that will be up later on Recon. This was discontinued when 575219 was introduced. I do not know the differences between 571579 and 575219, may be a simple change such as systainer upgrade. The third SKU is the current new model 575994 which has led lights and I believe has a different sanding pattern.

That was posted at the height of the pandemic in 2020. If you're interested in working for Festool, I'd imagine you could just call their main line or visit their website and call them and see if they're hiring.

I just looked at this C18 that is listed. Its 400 vs. normal price of 500 (USD). But when you look at the pictures on recon vs ToolNut, you see that the recon product does not have the right angle chuck. Doesn't that negate the $100 savings and you lose 2 years of warranty?

Pretty much.

The drill listings other than the CXS/TXS (which only had two configurations: Basic and Set) are a hot mess, both on Recon as well as on Festool's website. The images on the FUSA website don't even always match the bill of parts that are included.
