Is the unit below being discontinued in the US? I need the plug-it corded version not the new cordless version for my purposes etc. I am having trouble finding it in stock.

The corded CT SYS has been discontinued.

You would have to go on the hunt for one at a store that doesn't sell too many items through or buy one used or from the Recon site.

You all know if the CT SYS corded version can take the HEPA filters? I see there may be one listed for it. I also don't know if the new cordless version will be compatible with it in terms of bags and filters?

The corded version of the CT-SYS is a HEPA certified vac and uses the HEPA filters. But since this was recently discontinued, festool will continue to sell filters and bags for it for at least another 10 years.

I'll be hunting the local stores to see who has a corded version left over. Probably one of the local places has one. I could use a 2nd one for another job category.
Not interested in battery version.
