Does Festool Sell An Abrasives (full) Systainer?
« on: May 11, 2013, 07:38 PM »
I thought I saw somewhere a systainer filled with sanding abrasives for something like $250.  Looking on the Festool site, I found nothing like that.  Was I dreaming that?

Festool does not offer a filled systainer with sanding disks to the best of my knowledge.  HOWEVER you might be able to find a dealer who can put one together for you.  As a moderator I am not supposed to prefer one dealer over another, but I don't think that it would violate the intent to suggest that you contact some of the dealers who are active here and are forward thinking in their marketing approaches.  My guess is that one of them would be happy to help you out.

PS - I loved your website!

Try Tom Bellemare at Tool Home.  He's an active member here and he has a nice selection of abrasives assortments.  Check out his abrasive assortments on the Tool Home site.

Thanks Peter! But now that I know people are actually looking at it, I should probably update it.  [embarassed]

Julie,

As was already stated, Festool doesn't offer a systainer full of abrasives. Mainly because it would be hard to come up with something that fits the needs of everyone. But some of the dealers here on the forum may be able to help
you out.

I just wanted to post an answer since this is in the Ask Festool section.

You may have seen an old advertisement or something for the promotional abrasives (full) systainer that was offered several years ago. And I think the price was $250.
