Carvex base cracked and discontinued

Lol... sunday I dropped the Carvex and the fixed base cracked.
Ok well that sucks. So today I figured I can get a new one so
I look in ekat for part number. 10029367 Tisch.
I cannot access english part site, Internal errors.
Anyways, of all the parts listed w/ prices that part is discontinued.
Now what? I dont want the swivel base for $120.
Not in urgent need but I would like to replace it.
Any ideas where I could find such dog?

Why you think it's discontinued?

I bought mine last year, and they guarantee 10 years parts no?

I'll second what Tom said - Just pick up the phone and call Festool.  Your IP address seems to indicate you are in the US.  They will assist.

I did see on a dutch website "this part can not be ordered  [scared]". Thats weird, so let us now (@Picktool) what happend?

Maybe not weird, possibly festool finally looked at the Mafell P1cc and realized that the Carvex is that junk in comparison that they can no longer disappoint their customers... so the silently bought Mafell and are now pulling Carvex spares (prior to the 10 years) to have an excuse to replace every broken Carvex with a free P1cc (the 'new tool' in case the spares ran out prematurely)?

I clicked your link and there it was all avail.

Anyways, I found it at mmToolParts since I was
getting another for something else and fig'd I try. They had it for $14.54. Wooo.

@Gregor Im thinking of letting the carvex go.
Thought about the P1cc but thought again as I
dont use the jig saw much anyways.
