Can’t register a tool in Canada.

I’m trying to finish my login and then register a tool. I set up an account through ythe festool Canada. Then when it goes to screen to enter my name etc it goes to festool USA automatically, so I can’t enter my canada address. Help. I tried a couple of times. The box only has a usa option.

In the past Canadian festool dealers have been responsible for registering tools but I'm not sure if that's still the case.  I've never registered any of my festool purchases and have had no problems with warranty repairs.  I wouldn't worry about it.

I registered a number of tools but I think it was on the Festool USA website.  I recently created an account on the Festool Canada website but none of the tools I registered are shown.  When I try to log on to Festool USA it redirects me to Festool Canada.

Am I supposed to re-register everything now?  Not possible, because according to the Festool Canada registration page "You can only register within the first 30 days of purchase."  Why?

Also, registering requires uploading an invoice or similar document - again, why? 

I can (sort of) understand if Festool wants to manage their customers at the country level, but tool registration should be global, and much simpler than what it appears to be now.

I have no problem logging into my Canadian account. Can see my tools no problem
