1080 vs MFT/3 actual table
« on: February 15, 2013, 04:32 PM »
Are the two tops interchangable?  I know there was some slight variation in the hole size but wondering if I can pickup a MFT table and replace the one on my 1080 which has had its share of abuse.

No, they are not the same size. I know the MFT/3 is not as deep as the 1080, but I don't know about the width.

They're different dimensions, but you can buy a replacement 1080 top for much less than an MFT/3 top ($115 v. $152 on Amazon).

They also do not attach in the same way. The 1080 just screws on, the MFT/3 has threaded inserts. Different dims in width and depth.
